EnergySmart Limited is excited to announce an agreement for the acquisition of the Eco Insulation trademark and other intangible assets from Knauf Insulation.
The Eco Insulation product range includes sheep's wool, polyester, glasswool and speciality products that are BRANZ appraised.
Established in 2000, Eco Insulation has earned a strong reputation as a leading insulation installation contractor and, more recently, as a supplier of premium product designed to meet Ne produced by Knauf Insulation’s new factory.
EnergySmart Limited will incorporate the Eco Insulation brand and product range—both glasswool and sheep’s wool—into its existing services, which focus on residential retrofits, as well as commercial and residential new builds.
EnergySmart remains committed to advancing low-energy and low-carbon insulation solutions, alongside renewable energy and heat pump technologies, with a particular focus on existing homes, including the government funded Warmer Kiwi Homes programme and Kainga Ora builds.
The integration of Eco Insulation into the EnergySmart portfolio will begin on October 1st 2024, with the Eco Insulation options gradually made available to customers.
